Cancellation Refund

When cancelling online more than seven full days prior to the date and time of your exam, you

will receive a refund of US $80. If you cancel by phone, you will see a credit of US $80 credit on

your account but also a service charge of US $10..

If you cancel your exam less than seven full days prior to your exam date and time, you are not

eligible for a refund. If you cancel the exam by phone, you may be asked for a US $10 service fee.

If you miss your scheduled exam time for any reason, your registration fee will be forfeited.

  More than 6,000 graduate management programs around the world use GMAT scores as part of their admissions process. Find schools and programs that accept the GMAT exam.
• Does admission in B schools depend only on the GMAT?
  It is one of the various criteria that the admission council looks at. However, a good GMAT® score does improve chances of admission.
• How do I register for the GMAT?

• If I take the GMAT more than once, which score will be considered by the universities?
  Most of the Universities take the best score. However, it is best to confirm the same from a particular university before applying.
• Can I apply to universities if I do not have the AWA score?
  Yes, you can apply to the universities based on your provisional scorecard that you receive on the day of the test. But only if the university waives the requirement and as long as you are able to send the official score once it is out..
• What happens if I postpone/prepone my exam date?
  Rescheduling more than 7 days prior to the original test date will cost you an additional USD 50. Rescheduling within 7 days of the original test date will cost you an additional USD 250.
• When do I get my scores?
  You will get an unofficial score report with Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning and Total scores immediately after your exam. You will receive an email with a URL to access your score report within 20 days of your exam. This email will contain a link with instructions to access your Official Score Report online. You may then view, download, or print your Official Score Report.
• How can I access my GMAT Scores online?
  Online scores are not available through mba.com. Refer to the e-mail that contained a URL unique to your results within 20 calendar days of testing. This email will contain a link with instructions to access your Official Score Report online.
• If I’ve taken the GMAT exam more than once, will the score report contain all the scores?
  Official Score Reports include all GMAT exams you’ve taken within the past five years. If you have taken the exam and canceled your scores, your report will note that scores are unreportable.
• How many times can I take the GMAT®?
  GMAT® can be taken unlimited number of times with a gap of a minimum of 31 16 calendar days between 2 tests. However, one can give the test only 5 times in a calendar year. (It is highly advisable not to appear for GMAT® too many times as it may affect the applicant’s candidature).
• How do I order additional score reports, and how long do they take?
  Additional score reports can be ordered online for a fee.
• How long are GMAT®?
  GMAT® scores are valid for five years, and are available for reporting for up to 10 years.
• Can I cancel my scores?
  When you complete your exam, you will be shown your unofficial GMAT scores (Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, and Total). You will be given two minutes to decide whether to cancel or accept your score.
• If I canceled my scores but decide I want to reinstate them, what do I do?
  To reinstate a canceled score, call the customer service number for your region. There is a US$100 fee to reinstate your score. Reinstatement must be requested within 60 days.
• How long do I have to reinstate my score?
  You have 60 days from the day of your exam to reinstate your score.
• I accepted my scores on test day. Can I cancel them later?
  No. Once you accept your scores, they will appear on your Official Score Report for five years (this is the current availability for all reported GMAT® scores), and there are no exceptions due to technical limitations and policy restrictions. This has not changed.
• How do I send my scores to schools?
  On the day you take the GMAT® exam, but before you begin, you may select up to five (5) GMAT® accepting programs to receive your Official Score Report. If you did not select any GMAT programs to receive your scores on the day of your exam, or if you would like to send your scores to more than the five (5) programs you selected on your test day, you may order Additional Score Reports to be sent to schools online, by phone, by fax, or by mail for a fee.
• If I reinstate my GMAT® scores, am I still able to send them to five schools for free or do I have to pay the additional score report fee of $28?
  At the test center before you take the test, you can select up to five programs to receive your score reports at no additional charge. If you reinstate your scores, they will be sent to the schools that you selected right before you took the test. Any score reports ordered after test day require a US $28 fee for each report.
• How long after I request reinstatement of my scores will they be available?
  Your scores will be available to you within five to 20 days. In most cases, the scores will be available within five to seven days, but we may need up to 20 days to fully process your request, as we would if you accepted your scores on test day.
• Who has access to my scores?
  Score Reports, which include copies of essays and a digital photograph if a designated graduate management program has elected to receive them, are released only at your specific request—either when you take the test or when you request an Additional Score Report (ASR).
